Start with the road that leaves town
US-16 leads toward Reptile Gardens, Keystone, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park. I-90 runs east to Wall and the Badlands or west toward Sturgis and Spearfish. Downtown fills the space between those drives with museums, public art, restaurants, and family stops.
